01 Desktop studio

Your library becomes
one pack.

Drop in Java and Bedrock packs, type the look you want, and Forge picks the best texture for every slot. Tint them with real image filters, crop any icon to a square, and export for the Minecraft family you play.

Prompt-matched slots

Every slot is scored against the prompt and your whole library, so a Halloween prompt pulls the dark blade instead of the brightest one.

Dye it with image filters

Hue, saturation, brightness, contrast, posterise and a full black-out applied to the pixels, not just a label on the texture.

Any image becomes an icon

Drop a 16:9 screenshot or an odd-shaped logo. PackForge centre-crops and rescales it to a clean 1:1 pack icon.

Publish it, send it

Sign in, publish a version to the community shelf, and send the pack link to friends in a DM without zip files. Credits move between accounts too: type /pay 15 in any conversation.

The PackForge mod puts a full browser on the resource pack screen. It reads the live Modrinth and CurseForge catalogues for your exact game version, installs in one click, and checks installed packs for updates.

Every account starts with 30 credits and one forge costs 15. Run dry and download the PackForge PvP modpack from Modrinth: attach the .mrpack in the app and 15 credits land on your account. One top-up per version every 24 hours.

A real PvP modpack for Minecraft, and a top-up for the studio. Every download goes through Modrinth, so the pack author gets the download credit; attach the saved file in PackForge and keep forging.

  1. Download the .mrpack from Modrinth.
  2. In PackForge, open Credits and choose Attach the downloaded file.
  3. The file is hashed against Modrinth's release: +15 credits, once per version every 24 hours.

04 Install

Desktop app

  1. macOS Download the .dmg (Intel and Apple silicon), open it and drag PackForge into Applications. First launch: right-click the app → Open.
  2. Windows Run the .exe — no unzip and no administrator prompt. It installs for your account, adds shortcuts and opens PackForge. If SmartScreen appears, choose More info → Run anyway.
  3. Drop your Java or Bedrock packs into the library, write a prompt, hit Forge.

macOS 13 Ventura or newer · Windows 10 or newer · unsigned, no auto-updater · uninstall on Windows from Settings → Apps.

Minecraft mod

  1. Install Fabric Loader or NeoForge for your game version.
  2. Drop the matching PackForge jar into .minecraft/mods, along with Fabric API + Fabric Language Kotlin, or Kotlin for Forge.
  3. Launch the game and open Options → Resource Packs → Browse. The catalogue is live.

Use the jar for your exact Minecraft version and loader. 26.1 builds run on 26.1–26.1.2.
