PackForge ships a desktop studio and a fork of an existing Minecraft mod. Here is what is under the hood, and whose work it is.
PackForge
The PackForge desktop app and the PackForge name are © 2026 PackForge. The app bundles its own runtime and does not send project files anywhere unless you publish a pack or sign in.
The site's typefaces are Nunito and JetBrains Mono, both under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
Minecraft mod
PackForge for Minecraft is a rebranded fork of Resourcify, © 2023–2026 DeDiamondPro, used under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0.
The original copyright notices remain in every source file. PackForge is not affiliated with or endorsed by DeDiamondPro or the Resourcify project. The full notice is in the mod source at NOTICE.
Fabric API, Fabric Loader, NeoForge, Kotlin for Forge and Minecraft are the property of their respective authors.
Open source
The desktop app is built with Electron (MIT), esbuild (MIT), fflate (MIT) and resedit (MIT). The mod shades Elementa and UniversalCraft under their respective licences.
Minecraft
PackForge is not an official Minecraft product. It is not approved by or associated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft. “Minecraft” is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB.
Texture packs you forge remain the work of their original authors. Check a pack's licence before republishing it.
